Wrap Around Me
17 January, 2001
Author: Pondering Red
Wrap your comfort around me
until it settles and sticks
to me soft and tender.
Press your thoughts hard
into mine and watch your words flow
into soothing heart beat rythms.
Fragile and secure-
I look to you for a cure
from these difficult moments.
Your silence is striking.
Now I can melt into the day.
