Popcorn Clouds
20 October, 2000
Author: Pondering Red
Popcorn clouds-
I could eat them !
A buttery,creamy ray
of sunflower sun shines
over this late afternoon.
Seagulls sway and swoon-
white, they glide with an even flow.
Crisp leaves jump
into the deep southern winds.
Spraying splashes of breeze and colour
play like silken ribbons streaming
from dancers as they delight
with their twirling embroidered movements.
This autumn day soothes
my being without you.
As I begin to feel and squeal and reel and heal,
I see you-
floating on top of a marshmellow cloud !
