Pendent
5 March, 2004
Author: Fallen_Angel
Long brown hair suppressed upon her shoulders
She sits with the cold metal of her dead grandmothers gold necklace
against the heart upon her chest
Staring upon the pendant
Of a pink and purple rose entwined together
Green leafs wrapping thee like the dirt upon her cemetery
Against the white of winter
Taking her again
Tears flow from her eyes as she remember
The little eight year old feeling
The ice cold of her skin
As she laid there inside of her coffin
She lies with a red blanket upon, pressed against
Her black dress
Staring at me while I sit in the church
Holding back the tears
Another belonging
The color of her blue eyes
To gods processions
In harmony she watches me
In my heart she stays again
Where she lives
In this pendent pressed upon my skin

Meridian (152.163.252.229) -- Tuesday, April 6 2004, 10:55 pm Creepy, intense, this is one of those Alfred Hitchcock horror flicks!! I love the way you symbolize things in your creative poetry!! About how a girl is at her own funeral, in a coffin, hearing the mourning of loved ones!! Deep one, and another lovely one Mallisa Jackson!! Keep writing and continue to have fun!! Meridian |
