I Only Dare To Dream
6 April, 2004
Author: Pamela O'Brien
They act in ways
That do not understand one another;
My impulsive body
And my rational mind
Causing an internal conflict
So opposite in interests
That it is impossible to take sides
Because you cannot choose
Between what you are
And what you would like to be
One without the other
Does not allow
For a realistic person
To dare dream
And the distance inbetween
Where I found myself two days ago
And where I found myself last week.....
Leaves me chasing after myself
And the mess I left behind
The denial which is my destiny
My destiny which I have denied.

Martin Vann (63.185.65.92) -- Saturday, June 19 2004, 11:54 pm Pam, So often, I am alone, my pen takes me to paradise, then, with, the morning's sunshine, I'm left, with only, memories. So, if, God. grants, me one more night, I will not fear to dream, no matter what I was told, before, I could dream. Freedom of the heart, is not a part, of, the public's heart, which is so cold, they only, want to be, to be, to be on CBN, what they say, about you and me, how do they know, what we dream? This is not about you and me, it is about, the freedom of our dreams. We all dream, all of us dream, don't we? A poem from, a woman's heart, Thank You Pam. Martin V |
