We were so young when we met
It was a warm summer day out in the west
We looked at each other
that's when I new it was true
we would be friends forever all the way through
we would laugh at our jokes
and play in the sand
and when we got older we would start our own band
all through out teens we were always together
we would be friends for ever and ever or so we thought
but then something happened, im not quit sure what
we would still laugh and play but in not the same way
we were so cautious about what we said
that it almost seemed as if our friendship was dead
but I new it couldn't be true
we would still be friends all the way through
I still loved her she still loved me
that's the way best friends should always be
we would work it out and when we did
look out world were best friends again
so if you fight and don't agree
talk it out it's the way it should be
if your meant to be friends and you know that its true
then sit down one on one and talk it all through
that's the way we survived and im glad that we did
because know I knew we would be friends all the way through
