It Must Be Me

I sit here today staring at the blank wall
this has all happened so fast what has made me fall
I tell me story as if it is true
so people can not make me anymore like you
life is a joke you must laugh I know you will
but sometimes laughing is really what can kill
I used to be happy
I used to have friends
I used to joke and mess with there heads
that was until they all said to me
"what has changed now why are you so mean"
they said I didn't care,
I didn't believe it was true
until one day when I found you
you told me I was great
I said that not true why should I listen only to you
but that made him fall farther something I did not want
how could I get him not to taunt
I said to go away you don't know what your doing
but he just kept on coming back and pursuing
so one day when he came up close to my door
I said come inside and we talked on the floor
we started to laugh and have a good time
until I pulled out a knife and stabbed his insides
they came and got me
and took me away
that was the last time I saw the true day
so I sit here today staring at the blank wall
wondering what had made me fall
I think to myself could this have happened differently
but then I realized it must be ME
