A Poet's Revelation
18 April, 2003
Author: Red Dragon (Bernz)
Fear cascading the thoughts
Blinding the distant truth
Struggling to battle rejection
Diligence is the kin of perfection
To the thirsty eyes I bring my cup
My heart's scriptures in it flow
Blood-beads of pain, joy in teardrops
Bless me, redemption is an eternal tomorrow
Write to seek, seek to write
Dreamer's reality, a soothing sanctuary
Sorrows of the flesh bitter as ice
Now melted, an ink for my sketched scrutiny
Inside me it burns, it burns,
When challenge suddenly opens its doors
Yet my spirit is shaken and heartbeats churn
I found my key, Have you found yours?

Crystal (206.216.222.170) -- Sunday, April 20 2003, 04:08 am I like the way you chose different sets of symbolism in this poem, it shows how much your creativity can go. I totally enjoyed this one, and I know your creativity will never leave you. As I always say "A poets eyes lead to the world where dreams are endless", and you, my friend, are a poet. |

Red Dragon (210.14.4.51) -- Sunday, April 20 2003, 09:20 am thanks for comments...of course words are just words but when you're in the company of people who cause you to think, feel and write, you're not only challenged but are bound to share your emotions and ideas as well...and thanks to you, for being there.... |
