Yeah, that's us, together at last,
Remembering the day we met each other,
The day your eyes caught my eyes,
The dazzlingly sun making its wonderful rainbow with the rain soaking everything in its vicinity,
Your beautiful face catching my attention, I lend you my umbrella to walk you home,
Dripping wet, you invite me in to share a cup of hot chocolate,
Introducing myself and giving my occupation, you sit and enjoy my company,
From telling embarrassing to embracing moments of our lives,
You and I felt that this was going to get bigger than the both of us,
For hours we hold endless conversations on every issue,
Enjoying the agreements and disagreements on them,
A long day ended and I depart from your home but never forgetting the impression you put on me,
Awakened in my apartment from a dream of your voice, another day of work calls,
But I could never shake your sweet, soothing voice,
Your beautiful personality kept showing up in everything I did,
From dealing with the problems of man to writing poems by candlelight,
Your face, voice, and personality, ooh! (By now you see I have it bad for this woman),
I had to see this young woman again, and so I pursue,
Finding out where she works; I arrange for your boss to give you the day off,
I compose a wonderful and romantic meal for two,
With champagne, soft, sensual music, candles, the best plates, silverware, and wearing my best ever,
A ring of the doorbell let me know it was time,
You, (my, my, my, my) looked gorgeous, extravagant, and plain sexy!!,
Showing you to your seat, it was there we made the final connection,
We sit to enjoy a great meal, blessing it to God, the Most Powerful on High,
Realizing that we were made for each and the power of God brought us together,
So after we ate, we danced the rest of the night away,
Once again our eyes connect, not fighting the moment we kiss tenderly and hugged closely,
From then on it was, yeah that's us,
The couple that met through the rain of love and a very determined young man.
(At this time you should really give your girl a hug and a kiss)
