Sister
17 February, 2002
Author: Barbara Goodhew
Had a good visit yesterday.
My sister came to see me.
Didn't think as we were growing up she liked me.
I never realised before she had her own demons to fight.
Guilt, insecurities just like the rest of us.
I shouldn't say this but now that mom is gone, we are closer.
I took the time to listen and she felt the same way,
only she was smarter in the way she handled it
I just want to say thank you
to who or what ever made me see.
