Calling Darkness

Night flies across the sky
and the full moon rises above the sea,
my heart beats full of love and devotion
this time I know I can be free,
as the wind whistles throught the air
I hear your voice whisper "I care",
I think of you everyday
I dream of you every night,
when the darkness takes my spirit
it's your beauty that shines a light,
as the hatred fills my shattered soul
it's your love that takes control,
When the light gets dark over the land
and upon my neck I feel its icy breath,
from deep in the forest there is a calling
that tells me life is a dream of death,
when I awake you'll be there
you are my everything and with me everywhere
