To Please
8 April, 2004
Author: Clive B Ringshall
The words I hear cannot be for me,
You're so kind in many ways,
Never have I been told so kind,
To thank you could never be enough,
So for now I'll continue to write,
>From my heart that sometimes betrays,
Overriding my head always wanting more,
My life has become so many words,
Stories to share between you and me,
If you'll keep me close I'll always share,
To hold me near as we end another day,
You hold me so loving,
You're words said with feeling,
Wish I could share this joy,
Wish I could take away you're pains,
For this moment will pass,
With me you'll share tears of sadness also with Joy,
Always you return to me in that loving way,
I'll be here waiting and try to please.
