As I lay here tonight
My thoughts drift back to the sound of your voice
The wonderment I feel for finding you
You have opened up my world, to let the sun shine in
You have lifted my burden that has held me down
My heart sings of joy and laughter
Whenever your voice echos in my ear
You've restored my faith in the word LOVE
In our hearts and in our souls
We know we will be one
Forever together, forever whole
Forever partners, forever lovers
Forever best friends
The distance apart in miles we share together
Making us strong for the day we meet
The warm touch of your embrace won't feel new to me
The softness of your lips won't surprise me
The love in your heart I have felt many times
And I know our love will be forever
These words are my own and from my heart
