Highest Peak
28 November, 2003
Author: Sarah Taurus
There comes a day,
When everything seems to go away,
It kills you inside,
When it burns up your pride.
I don't know what to feel,
Nor know if this is real,
But all that I can say,
Is that I am here to stay.
These words, they're strong and mean,
And I am just a teen,
You are tearing me apart,
You tore a big hole in my heart.
I lay in pain,
My pain is vain,
And I think it's going to drive me insane.
I am numb and weak,
It is hard to speak,
But I am willing to take that peak.
