Stuck In The Dark
21 September, 2003
Author: Sarah Taurus
Caught in a mist of time,
Choosing the right way,
Unsure of where to go,
As I wonder what will become of this day.
Fairy tales and myths,
How they are all the same,
Do not know how to explain
The feeling of this strange game.
We all wonder where this life goes,
It’s Scary to think of the unknown,
But time will tell and show us right,
As I am filled with such fright.
Something will become of my life,
That I know but still I’m filled with much strife.
Now we can go on to the unknown,
Knowing the way that we all have to go.
We go to this place and sit here in the dark,
Wondering what this comes out to be,
But we are never afraid,
for you and I are free.

Silkened Moon (206.214.64.75) -- Sunday, November 23 2003, 05:24 pm I really enjoyed this poem and its profound beauty. Strange to say, it kind of reminds me of Alice in Wonderland, due to the fact that it kind of explains how she felt in Wonderland, and it explains how we feel in the world we try to explore; never knowing whats going to come with the day! I loved it! Very cool! Keep writing, I'll keep reading! |
