No Turning Back by Sarah Taurus

You speak those deep words,
They haunt me with such fright,
I just can’t take it,
Get out of my life.

Don’t pressure me like this,
It’s so hard to be perfect,
I try to be good,
But no one is perfect.

I cannot believe you said that to me,
I get so angry at you,
Yet you get so angry at me,
So that is why I am going to take your keys.

I am leaving right now,
Don’t you dare try and stop me,
I can do it on my own,
Just watch and see.

I am stronger than you,
I can make it out there,
You are the worst parents,
I am pulling out my hair.

God please help me,
Get me away from here,
These people are beating me,
I have proof to show.

I have these bruises,
These cuts and burns,
Where do I go from here,
I do not have anywhere to turn.

I guess I’ll go back,
To the suffer and hate,
God just be with me now,
For it is getting to late.

I think I should leave,
Out of the state,
No one will find me there,
But there is a gate.

That gate is holding me back,
The gate of guilt,
I need to find some help,
God I think I can go on from here,
I will take my time,
And only spend a couple of dimes,
Just getting away from there.

I Sarah i love this poem.....it remineds me of my life at home too.....you have me, but if you ever need to talk to me talk to me in the chat room i will be in there....at least youll have someone to talk to right....welll i love this poem and i can relate to it so much.....you should read some of mine i think that you would injoy some of them....well keep writing and making tese danm poems becuase they are great.....later dayz
