Winter Days
15 November, 2003
Author: Sarah Taurus
Winter draws near,
I can see it coming,
It’s dark and grey outside.
The ground is moist,
From a night before rain,
I do not have a shadow.
It’s cold and gloomy,
It’s depressing and sad,
I do not like this day.
I do not see one ray of light,
I cannot believe this is turning into fright,
Please make this day go away.
A couple of days go by,
I finally see a ray of light,
I never thought I could be so happy,
As winter is now here.
