Mental Fasting
17 February, 2003
Author: Sax
My dear,
I'm hungering for you.
I'm thirsting for your kiss,
I can eat all the food I desire,
drink all the quenching liquid I can hold.
None of it satisfies me.
Physically,
to your eyes,
and to the eyes of all,
I am obese,
I am "dangerously overweight",
I am fat to your eyes,
and to the eyes of all.
Even to my own eyes.
I am too fat to be desired by any,
even you.
But deep down inside,
where my heart and mind,
my very soul all reside,
deep down and hidden away in my world,
I am anerexic.
I am starving for love,
your love.
Hungering for your touch,
to touch and be touched.
Thirsting for your kiss,
to drink you in,
and feel our tongues tangle and untangle.
Now my outside reflects my inside.
I am anerexic,
starved of love for far too long.
I feel like I'm going to die from this,
I am already malnurished of companionship.
I'm nothing more than skin and bones,
just skin and bones.
I am anerexic,
starved of your love,
thirsting for your kiss.
Can't you see I'm thirsting for your kiss?
Starving for your love? .
