Black Night - Night Sight
26 December, 2002
Author: Sax
In the darkness we will be bound,
there are shadows,
all comsuming,
all decaying.
We will be found,
we will be bound,
this is a land of darkness,
a land where the shadows lie.
Muscle - Tissues - Blood,
Brainmatter - Bones - Intestines,
they have not these things,
Death - Pain - Suffering,
this is there body,
ever transparent,
forever invisible.
In the darkness we will be found,
there are shadows,
in the darkness we will be bound,
this is a land of darkness,
a land where the shadows lie.
The angels feathers have fallen,
the darkness has found her,
the shadows have devoured her.
Lightning rips at the sky,
dark gray clouds float over lazily.
The doves that were once air borne,
now litter the ground,
carrion-fowl high above,
seek out a meal,
a feast for free.
Nothing pure lives anymore,
the grass is dead,
the soil now polluted.
The rivers flow with blood,
slaughter all around,
a war of life and death.
We have the choice of life and death.
There's someone home,
but the lights are out,
love has become a futile thing,
almost pointless,
garrunteeing easy pain.
What are we to do?
We can't co-exist at all.
Will the darkness find me?
Will the darkness take me?
Will it bring me down?
Will it try to consume me?
This is my land of darkness,
this is a land where shadows lie.
