Gold Cross
24 December, 2002
Author: Sax
Glittering and bright,
reflecting light and joy.
Priests hold it with glee,
waving there hands before the children,
"Beware the Beast" says he.
"Read your bible" he preaches,
he says to study it,
to keep out of the grasp of satan.
I oppose,
but let them believe,
let them believe in fake gods of good and evil.
That is there choice.
Christ was nailed on the cross,
he wanted to save us from all our sins.
I was nailed on a cross too,
but I never saved anyone.
Special isn't he?
Repent for your sins,
so says the priest.
But we are flawed,
viruses on the world.
We chose to sin.
We can't be forgiven.
We made the choice to walk to hell..
