Respect

It's something only the sincere can know.
But how to define it?
You can't really,
I think it's only what you feel it is,
thought it isn't right sometimes.
Respect is in the dictionary,
it says:
A Relation or reference to a particular thing or situation;
An act of giving particular attention/consideration;
A high or special regard,
the quality or state of being esteemed;
Expression of respect or difference;
Particular detail.
All none too descriptive.
There's better ways for respect.
Simply be kind,
talk with courtesy,
eye contact.
Those are just a few,
but a simple rule of thumb,one that puts things into perspective.
Treat others as you would like to be treated.
Though it's not always easy,
there's always those that can never respect you,
they dont matter to you.
An ye harm none,
do what ye will.
Remember that always.
