Another Question - What Are Friends For
24 December, 2002
Author: Sax
A friend asked me today,
what are friends for?
We know that answer,
you know it as well as I do,
we know what friends are for.
They are our shoulder to cry on,
they are the support we need,
they are the affection we desire,
they can be our everything.
They are not pieces of meat,
pieces of ass.
They're just like you and me.
Flesh and blood,
heart and soul.
Fragile emotions just like I.
Your own words can cut them like glass,
they can be hurt by anyone just like you.
It is then when you become the needed friend,
when you become there shoulder to cry on,
the support they need,
the affection they desire,
there everything that can build a bridge between two seperate worlds.
So now I ask you,
what are friends for?.
