Symbiotic Crucifixion
22 September, 2002
Author: Sax
I feel it's such a shame,
that so few people know what it's like,
to be nailed upon a cross by there own hand,
for flames of self destruction to swirl and eat them.
Though it's no longer possible to physically do so,
these times would not allow it,
instead I refer to a mental state,
should more people know what it's like,
do you think the world would be a better place?
Would it be filled with more understanding?
Would it be filled with more compasion?
Would so much unneeded hazing and harrassment suddenly die off?
The rest of you people need to know what it's like for some of us.
Dont you think there would be something wrong,
if a person saw themselves as being able to lose some weight,
yet only weight 140 pounds?
Dont you think there would be something wrong,
if one day they were fine,
but the next day there were unexplained cuts on there arms?
Dont you think there would be something wrong,
if you found empty medication packaged laying around,
and the only person there was acting "funny"?
Dont you think there would be something wrong,
if your child threatened to take his life,
right infront of you?
Dont you think there would be something wrong,
if your child remained up in his room all day,
not willing to talk to his family?
Some of us are so twisted but never get help,
if we could get that maybe things would be better,
maybe the world would slowly become better over time,
instead of continuously degrading.

Matt Tucker (204.116.150.53) -- Friday, November 8 2002, 01:55 am I like this poem alot also. I think the world would be a better place if they knew the pain of being nailed to a wooden cross and left to suffer a harsh death . The world would also be a better place if there was help for everyone....but there isn't. |
