The cross remains upon the wall,
it continues to reamain in shadows,
as always calling out
"Hey you, heads up, the world's coming down".

How much longer will it be?
Until the dead now walk the Earth?
Christ will rise,
his eyes missing,
his flesh rotting,
He will lead the dead,
He will destroy us all.

But I remain here nailed upon the cross,
not as another Christ,
not as a Martyr,
but as me,
I can see myself through these surrounding flames,
I know my darker side is laughing at me.

But the all consuming flames burn as always,
requesting for me to not struggle,
all it wants me to do is burn out with it,
die in agony along side it.

If I could look outside,
would the sky also be on fire?

To my loved ones I call out to,
but they're so from me,
what kind of a friend am I?
I can't be there for my friends when they need me,
as much as I want to be,
so why should I expect them to be here now?

The pain in my eyes has been there so long,
noone seems to see it anymore.
When the flames burn out,
when my charred flesh breaks away from the cross,
will you be at the funeral?
I know I'll be there.
I'll be there forever.

I'll be there forever.
If you need me,
thats where you'd find me.
