Introspection
22 March, 2002
Author: Airtime 13
Are feelings felt inside myself,
really me?
Or declarative (they are you know)
of something I want
you to see.
I emote therefore I am,
while always keeping,
something real, strange, mythical, from
out of myself leaping.
To know you I must open, part of my soul.
Is there a fear that what is seen
may leave you cold?
Doesn't matter here I come,
lover's leap beware!
I need to love,
and to be loved,
to know that someone cares.
------- Author's Notes -------
When we worry about what others think of us we close ourselves to them. |
