Independence

I know you like your independence,
So do I
But independence can be boring
Since you and I became disabled
We have alot in common
Our independence is put on hold
Maybe til we get old.
Oh I forget you're already there
Thats okay I still care

My thoughts

I think you got the idea right but you should realy think about whats a free verse and whats not. You started to ryme at the end but you didnt at the top. Also you have to remember to keep it interesting. Thank-you for reading
:-)
