Broodling
29 March, 2002
Author: Sax
Alone in the dark,
the nightchild broods.
Thoughts of the past and loved ones haunt him.
Luminated by a single candle,
why can't it all just go away?
It all looks so different now,
but why is it all still the same?
It's like waking up from a dream,
a dream so unreal we cannot see,
but yet the pain makes it seem so.
The darkness has imprisoned me,
why can't someone help me?
For a single instant things seemed so clear and right,
buth then suddenly it came crashing down again,
crushed by the pain inflicted by an Angel.
Broken hearts take time to heal,
but this chapter will never end,
the broken hearts may never heal...
