The Friend Family
23 December, 2001
Author: Sax
It's something they've said,
I don't know what they've done,
but something makes me feel like,
just a little bit like,
like I'm home here with them.
They've taken what I have to give them,
I asked nothing in return,
but they've shown me what life has to give,
and here I stand livin'.
I've got to get away from here,
my chaotically horrific life.
And it couldn't be too soon.
I just want to be home with them.
My Friends.
My Family.
We're still here livin',
givin' each other what have to offer,
we get in things together,
it's all of us or none of us.
Only humans can understand what we have,
the sort of bond that makes us all inseperatable,
give us this chance tonight,
to show you what we can do.
We are here together.
We are one.
We are free.
We are family.
