We're Still Here
16 December, 2001
Author: Sax
They shall come,
and they shall go,
your fate is uncertain,
who you will be with is unknown.
Healing waters,
cool and clear,
it mends your heart,
and calms your mind.
The pain is great,
that we know,
at sometime or another,
we've all been there.
Though he has left your life,
we are still here,
here, To help you through this.
Is this not what real friends are for?
So next time you're down,
don't think of the low.
But instead think of your friends,
who are here for you,
who want to help.
Some of us are just a short walk away,
others are just a quick call away.
Just know that if you need us,
we'll be there.
All of us if need be.
Willing to give a helping hand,
a listening ear,
or even a shoulder to cry on.
Just know that always,
We'll be here for you,
all of us.
No matter what.
Because that is what friends are for.
.....
Are they not?
