Tears Of The Heavens

A joyous place to spend your future
Must be rid of all heart breaks.
The deserving souls float up to God
where they are rewarded of their faithful lives.
He understands the rocky roads
upon which we travel everyday.
Those who helped the other travelers-
helped those weaker or poor
are greatly rewarded for the rest of eternity,
their sweetest dreams fulfilled.
In order to enjoy the new home
the sorrows must be drained.
And so it rains
The tears fall from heaven.
Those tears fall on my head.
Others cover their heads
They like to forget the sorrows
that they have caused the souls.
I, however, like to listen
Listen to all the cries of the past
and understand the world.
I should cover my head when it pours
For I no longer understand humanity.
I feel the horrors told to me
in the pounding drops
And I see for myself
the selfish treatment of others.
Then I stare at the ground.
The Blacktop is now reflective
I can see the real world
through this reflection
And now I see their view as well.
Staring at the reflection
in this now revealing Blacktop,
I can see that these tears
distorted the views of the world
for these unfortunate souls.
Nothing in the world is the same.
Can no longer have an appreciation for life
Everything shaky, blurry, disturbed.
Now it's alright.
The tears were drained
from the heavens,
the people here ignored them
as they fell
And they will soon evaporate
into the air
just waiting for people to inhale.
These tears are now held
within the earthly souls
Where they will remain
until it is their turn.
