Stitches -6
5 March, 2003
Author: Seizure
The hole in the sky, starts to fade away
It's my last time, to see the light of day
The sky's filled with fire, the ground's smoldering
No one knows the hurt, that I'm shouldering
I start to walk around, the sights to behold
Are so hideous, they should not be told
The sky starts to fall, I burst into flame
My flesh bubbled off, who now can I blame?
Now my skin is gone, it hurts more as I walk
Tender muscle tissue, rubs away like chalk
Blood seeps from the ground, what's to come of me?
I drop to the ground, because of agony
A man walks toward me, his eyes are sewn shut
What tissue is left, seems savagly cut
As he got closer, his mouth was also sewn
His arms were stitched together, I could see his bone
He mumbled to me, through his mouth's suture
And welcomed me to, my hellish future
He said I can't escape, and I am to see
Such wonderful sights, all ahead of me
Chains come from the ground and rip into my bone
There's no way that I, ever could have known
That Hell did exist, that I would go there
And that my future, was meant for such despair

Seizure (65.164.72.2) -- Wednesday, March 12 2003, 02:12 pm I just wish the comments would have the correct title of poem associated with them. You see, "Heaven's Cascade" being commented on the comments page... not "Stitches." Oh well... I can let Becky slide here :). |
