Cynosure -3 by Seizure

Darkness starts to fade, light starts to surround
Everything that's up here, I don't hear a sound
A figure's walking toward me, it cuts through the light
It said I faught with life, but I lost the fight
Now I am to follow, this dark shadowed man
I want to ask questions, I don't know if I can
If this is Heaven, I want to stay up here
I want to be happy, I want nothing to fear

We walk down a hallway, with multi-colored brick
I start to feel strange, I start to feel sick
He said that it's normal, I'm no longer living
It might be a soul, that needs some forgiving
It needs to adjust, that it finally escaped
>From it's useless body, it starts to take it's shape
Judgment will determine, how my soul will look
So he hopes that I, lived life by the book

This is a pilgrimage, that all dead will take
It's not a mere dream, that I can awake
We continue on, through this bright hall
I look down at my feet, it's one hell of a fall
I see through the cloud, that I'm walking on
Below it is fire, where tortured are spawn
We make it through the hall, and approach a gate
I see the gate keeper, it's time to try my fate

I just re-read Cynosure and realize I could have worded some of it better. Oh well, should have thought of that earlier. You have my props LinzAy, you're going through the whole story :). If you make it to the end, it will be unreal! If you liked these 3, just wait until a few poems later... it really starts getting good... these are just setting the stage :).
