Demon's Night

When children grow straight up out the earth
And the clouds rain blood, and decayed give birth
And your flesh peels off, and life's colors fade
You are left alone, you are so afraid
But then please tell me this, what is going on
You step right outside, bodies on your lawn
Faith slips away, and the sky is burning red
All your courage here, now hangs by a thread
It is almost gone, you know this is true
When you turn around, something's after you
You give all that you can, to try to get away
It is getting closer to feasting on its prey
You try to hide in alleys, you try to hide in yards
It is still coming for you, the devil's dealt it's cards
There is nowhere you can go, as you already know
You're body's growing tired, as you start to slow
You close your eyes so tight, afraid of what's to come
Your body starts to tingle, you're growing so numb
You're tossed to the ground, the demon grabs your arm
He rips it from your body and means you further harm
He grabs you by the chin and rips out your throat
Chances for survival are now so remote
He left your body there, all your life has bled
But again you march, with the living dead
