Under The Bed

Author: Seizure
Don't worry Jason, I'll go look outside
I want you to stay there, and find a place to hide
I won't let him touch you, I swear to God on that
Now go and tuck away, while I get our bat
I hear him coming, hurry and disappear
I can feel the footsteps, as they're drawing near
My brother went to hide, underneath our bed
I went behind the door, a bat over my head
The door slowly opened, my sister peeked inside
She was bleeding badly, he had ripped her hide
She too went to vanish, standing behind a curtain
When he would come get us, I didn't know for certain
I heard my mother yell, as a mirror crashed
And I hear the impacts, as wire cord lashed
Suddely all was quiet, I went back to the door
Then I heard more footsteps, impacting the floor
Sweat poured from my palms, footsteps were close now
The door knob slowly turned, sweat poured from my brow
My father stepped inside, I swung with all my might
My time to be strong, ended up being tonight
The bat hit his head, then he met the ground
Me my brother and sister, didn't make a sound
He started getting up, so I swung again
This time the bat cracked, across his ugly chin
My dad grabbed my ankle, and pulled my leg from me
I tumbled down backwards, my hand let the bat free
My father then grabbed it, and gave me a glare
Then he picked me up, by my dark brown hair
I just kept trying, to swing at his head
I felt so damn scarred, his eyes seemed to turn red
Striking me with the bat, time suddenly froze
My head was in the doorway, then the door swung closed
