Why The Lights Go Out At Night
18 February, 2001
Author: Seizure
Stuck in a cage, they told me I'll die
I'm not a killer, I'm just a normal guy
Forced to submission, I'm trapped in chains
It's my time, when they connect the mains
Help me god, don't let this be
Please just tell them, it wasn't me
You know it's true, never killed a soul
So how the hell, did I find this hole?
Soon I'll make your lights go out at night
They chain me up so that I can't fight
I'll burn and burn, this is inhumane
They say I deserve it, I'm afraid of pain
Time to go, a tear rounds my cheek
I try to stand but my legs are weak
So they pick me up, and carry me out
Then insert a mouth piece, so I can't shout
I look down the hall, and see the room
It's where I'll meet, my final doom
They strap me down and wet my head
In a few moments, I will be dead
Soon I'll make your lights go out at night
They chain me up so that I can't fight
I'll burn and burn, this is inhumane
They say I deserve it, I'm afraid of pain
A hood covers my face, to hide my fear
The priest reads words, that I can't hear
I'm so nervous, I can't swallow
What will happen when my bodies hollow
They said ready, and pulled the lever back
My body seizes up, I feel pending heart attack
I see my childhood, my pain and my fun
The jolt finally ends, my memories are done
