Him
16 December, 2001
Author: Serenity
Today I saw him.
The nasty desire to make love drips through my veins.
He caught my eye and I return his peaceful gaze,
though I am too shy to stand there in a daze.
Leaving him, we cross paths once again as if fate is silently speaking.
Standing so near him, my heart is a hammer beating away at my soul.
My words are frantic syllables spilling from my mouth.
My eyes not daring to gaze at his face,
I am left wondering if he stares at me.
My silly actions done so carelessly and frantically,
I ask myself,
why do I act this way when I am around him and others like him?
My nerves are scattered within me, unable to act naturally.
Between this nonsense my chance is gone.
Before I know it, he disappears, out of my world, out of my life,
never to see him again.
