It's A Dream, It Will Happen
4 January, 2004
Author: Shan
Pen ripping through paper, dripping letters debating my fate
Sticking verbs in translation, getting the worst concentration
I lose word formation, and swerved my words loose in location
My temptation to boil stems from the truth of the soil
Whatever suits to uncoil the stem of the roots caught in foil
Another mind gone to rotten, another time forgotten and wasted
I've gotten and tasted the cotton that's been broughten and pasted
I'm rotting and wasting the talent I'm tasting
Cause I don't think I have it, I'm laced in
I'm in chains, I'm pacing, brains in pain,
No escaping the truth of the rain,
People rating the words that I say
I'm just creating music from my brain
I use it to explain, I use it like I've told
I just rap to explode, I'm tapped to unload,
Strapped to locking mode, until I crack the blocking codes
Unlocking the pass I can grasp if I try unblocking the past
But I tried and times clocking fast
Arms are tied, then I blast
Release what I hide, then I crash and slide into glass
It's to fast, I can't decide what to hold
I'm stuck inside my own mold, I can't get by or unfold
To slide behind the postponement I've known
And blow the fire I've shown
My desire I own is my fire to blow
Maybe you was right, I should fold,
Call it a night, and go home
But see my side, I'm alone and only know how to fight
If there's a sight I want, that's what the fight is for
I wont give in, I wont give up, I wont let it happen
Although it may seem, I'm collasping
That will never be, I wont let that happen
It's in stone, and I'll hold out until I grab it
It's a dream I own and I'll make it happen
Because my only dream, is to be rapping
