Word Scramble
27 December, 2003
Author: Shan
My pen sinking in paper
debating links of letters waiting to be placed in sink
The letters sound better flown freely from the main link
I gut a brain leak and it comes out my finger tips
No crumbs linger when it seeps out my pen
Then again so many words come in, I go biserk within
I'm like a jerk with a twitch
When words get worked up like this
So many letters in vocabulary that has me unsteady
To many to choose from, that I lose some
A never ending loose word chain
Worth so much to the brain
I can't afford to go blank, I can't loose my way
What I chant is all I have left to create
Implant a new brain to debate new words to conjugate
My minds in a race to put words in a space
that will take the place of mind where I hide
I need to sever myself from my cries
Spill my brain on paper, release all fears inside
Although no words can truly taper the fight
It's worth a try and maybe I'll get some sleep tonight
