Thanks

Thanks for making me able to love, able to forget
Able to look above the walls that were set
Stable to be tough through the falls
and to like what I get
Thanks for deciding my fate
and for lighting the way
Thanks for giving the strength
to not keep hiding away all I was trying to say
Thanks for playing with my brain
and laying things straight
Thanks for all the anger you tame
and all the feelings you ate
Thanks for feeling my pain
You're the only one who can help with healing the stains
When I'm lonely, you're the only offered hand
Thanks for being my sanity
when I think I'm insane
Thanks for dreaming up fantasies
when I can't see through the rain
Thanks for being a friend to me
when I need you the most
At the end, you're all I'll see
when all that's left is my ghost
Here's something we should think about
A little something about the heart and mind
During life they might be to hard to figure out
But they're all that's left at the end of time
