Minds Door
26 November, 2003
Author: Shan
Under my skin, I cover all within
Afraid to fall, I never win
Tell me, which door makes this life begin
Is it before the one I've fallen in?
If you could see which one I've been crawling in
Buried with what's deep behind within
Can't be defined cuz I give in and lie
Driven to die, unless I find my place inside
Apon the lies, a place to hide
Eyes to face and heart to mind
A quiet place is hard to find
A taste to see the pain I face
A waist of life is wired to my mind
Find a desire to retrace the rhymes
Erase mistakes and shattered times
And finally find what makes the mind
As crazy as this one I find
Amaze me, Shannon, one more time
One more lie that you define
As the craziness you chose to live inside
Or was this just given to those who hide
From what arose out of their minds
All is exposed, my door defined is almost closed
And maybe most has been exposed
This pain will seize and then dispose
And I can finally have this be
The one door I firmly close
