Dreams
8 November, 2003
Author: Shan
Caught in the streets
Faughten to be
Better then what life has broughten to me
I'll get to where I autta be
So far it's cost a lot from me
I've gotten lost in the fight
Crossed tight, never taught right
I've lost sight and let go
Of all I've eva had to hold
Only to turn around and forever be bold
I hold together to own what I dream
Never alone when I show what I've seen
It's my home, it's my dream
Everything I want my life to be
I'll get what I want, I will succeed
Some can't see my dream or peak
I cause mind chaos when I speak
No time to stop and think
When words flow from tongue and cheek
You think it's just all fun and games
When I sink out rhymes with your names
But I continue to claim it's my dream it's my way
I'll scream it, no pause, no delay
My dream is my only way
The only thing that don't stray
My only string you cant break
And one day I'll make it come true
Through my way -- if it's the last thing I do
I'll finally show me and show you
No matter what you go through
If you dream, and love to
And believe, it will come to you
Then your dream will be seen and finally come true
