Mind Battles
4 September, 2003
Author: Shan
Looking around, I've never found
Nothing but the sound of the brain
No way to tame, to get back to being the same
Screwed in this game, no fame, constantly living in pain
Blame is on me with no warning to me
My minds been tearing me apart
I have no feeling but fearing no heart
Nowhere to start to try to reach the end
I only try to pretend to comprehend
To understand the whole scene
Of why things have been so mean and unclean
Unable to reach a dream
Only the nightmares where I scream
To acheive a little peice of relief to be seen
Releasing all I've been precieving
Please dont let noone be leaving
I can't take the stinging ringing
Of you bringing another thought of me being alone again
I'll close my eyes and count to ten
When I wake up I hope there's a friend
But most just be believing in decieving
And leave me with grief and leave me pleading
And that's when I cut and start bleeding
Reading these words, it causes hurt
The way you spoon out your words
You've made a wound and it hurts
To much to even want to converse
With you, not knowing what more to do
I think I'm through, I'll tie this noose
Kick the chair loose
No wait, here's the debate
The everyday battle that I face in this place
I can't get through this disgrace
It's like a maze, it's not a phase
I want to live to see my days
Figure out more ways to love this place
But you can see it in my face
Embraced with every breath I take
Death in the face
Can't seem to make my life more worth living
And be happy for what I'm given
Shivering from the sting of this thing
I throw the blade out
And hope I made some pain fade
maybe a sence of sane way
But fate has me irrate in it's way
Of taken control of the day
And saves me from
Perminantly taken my life away
