I can't believe how much time it has taken
For me to get the words out of my mouth
Without any being mis-taken
I've thought of millions of ways to shout it out
When all I ever really needed to do
Was just let it all flow out
There's no perfect way except for you own
To explain what you want to say
In whatever kind of tone
Doesn't matter how you say things
As long as you're saying whats on your mind
But you never really know what your words will bring
Life is all up to you, and what you want to do with your time
I finally choose not to live in my own silence any longer
Finally said things that have been bothering me
Even though my words hurt you, I've never felt any stronger
I've finally stuck up for what I believe is right
I finally spoke up about things going on
I'm finally stepping forward to battle lifes fight
I dont care if you agree with anything I have to say
It's my life, my view, and there's nothing you could do
I'm also not blind to admit when I'm wrong in my way
I don't care if you hear any of the words that I speak
But my ears are always open to what you have to say
After spilling out all that needed to be said, I no longer feel weak
I never realized the power of words, and everything under the cover
Everything that knows how to speak, is powerful, precious and unique
I'm proud of myself, And wouldn't ever want to be any other
