Locked In Lifes Reality Ride
10 August, 2002
Author: Shan
Analyze every word that I write
And you tell me if you think I'm alright
Cuase I'll tell you right here and now
I'm not quite sure exactly why I fight
Chaos, confusion, insanity and anger
That's exactly what it is in this world of mine
I'm sick of the way my life has been
A face to face fist fight, within my own mind
Theres something deep inside this world
That holds me here against my will
Something holding me by lock and key
Holding me from things I'd like to forfill
There is no such thing as cold hard reality
If reality is just a preception we believe in
My reality is cold, dark, deathly and sad
>From being locked down by this world, locked in
If only I didn't have to live with this pain anymore
Maybe I'd willingly take on a day for a change
Instead of wanting to die all the time
I can't picture myself in that situation thought, it's strange
Am I weird for not wanting to fight anymore?
Am I normal in your preception of reality?
Have you ever felt completely locked into this world?
What are you thinking, as you're reading my stories?
Would my death bring a feeling of satisfaction to my life
Would my loss of life make me happy somehow
No, but it would kill the pain
And I wouldn't want anyone to experience
The pain I'm feeling right now
So you read these, and tell me if I'm alright
Give me an option that I havn't already tried
It's hopless, I'm pathetic, I'm more then I can take
I'm done trying to figure out lifes reality ride
I'm not going to go crazy and kill myself
I just want to know what I can do
I can't live my life like this anymore
And I've run out of options, so I'm asking you
