Wish Upon A Star
31 July, 2003
Author: Shan
The wind blows roughly through my hair
as I sit up on my roof and think
Watching the sun shine the last of it's rays
I realize my life is begining to sink
The first star is seen as I blankly stare
at the blackness of the sky above
Wondering about lifes mysteries
Wishing I had somebody to love
The sky is full of brightly lit stars
I make a wish apon the biggest one
I wonder how many other people
are wishing apon that very same one
What is everyone else wishing for
When they look up at the sky like this
Wishing for themselves or others?
Wishing for their very first kiss?
Every wish comes straight from the heart
I sit and wish for the dark to go away
Sit and wish to find the courage
To say what I need to say
Sitting, thinking and wishing
Doesn't end up getting me very far
But I know one day they'll all come true
From believing in what I wished upon that star

Robert (24.108.206.64) -- Sunday, October 5 2003, 08:43 pm The red orb of, that, star rose up from the foggy sea, seemingly, up out of the valley of your mind. Gently climbing higher and higher changing colour as it ascended, rising from your day dreams, a star for you to find. It is your star, it shines in your inner soul so brightly. Look, there in the clear orange sky, see your heartlight! |
