Cool breeze blows from my window
Flows through my hair, gives me the chills
I stare out into the world with wandering eyes
Sittin for a moment and seeing everything so still

Everything was once so innocent
Once so untouched, once so bright
Everyday was so happy, everyday was something new
Everyday went by with all happiness in flight

I remember when little things were amusing
Remember when friends were everything to me
When the world was my painting board
When the world offered everything it had to give to me

Growing up each year, the next would be better
Growing up and lookin ahead for what was to come
Each that came, brought more excitement than the last
Each made me more aware of the times that had past

Try to save all the memories of good times
While diving into what life has up ahead
Save all the memories you can
Because one day your life could be a book that's been read

A book of all the ups and down of ur life
A book of lessons you had to learn the hard way
A book of things you would do all over again
A book of you life, saying whatever you want to say

With each day that comes, another entry to the book
Im writing my life with each breath i take
Im going to make it worth reading
I'm going to be happy, no matter how much it may take
