Why Can't You See It's Broke
4 March, 2003
Author: Shan
I'm sick of waiting for you to decide to come around and do,
Whateva it was that we made plans to do
I'm through with you, and your stupid ideas too,
I'll do it myself, cuz I'll get betta results
You can stay with your hommies and play 'round in them cults,
But dont EVER come crying to me when them backstabbers make ya sulk
Dont come crying to me when they leave you by yourself,
Dont come crying to me when you need some help
Cuz your lil group of homegirls left you feelin down on yourself,
But I think you know me betta,
I think you know that I'd neva letcha,
No I'd neva letcha fall down and go through hell, but i min-as well,
Cuz I know your only here for me when I'm feeling up and swell,
But I guess it's all good and well
I let you walk all over me, so f*ck it, what the hell
Cuz you can't see that I'm here for you,
but what about you being here for me.
Your my best friend dawg. Why can't you just see,
that it hurts to be ditched and left
the way you always do to me, Why can't you just see that,
That I'm alone in this world withoutcha, but screw ya, I'm done with ya,
I'll move on and forward like I always do,
But keep in mind that I'll always be here for you
But you ruined what we had, the way you treat me makes me madder,
Madder then the mad hatter with a lump in his throat
I keep it locked in til now
Just read what I just wrote, and listen to the words that float, listen to what I spoke,
I'm done trying to fix this, there aint no point-- it's broke
so just tell me why I'm still here for you,
but what about you being here for me.
Your my best friend dawg. why can't you just see,
that it hurts to be ditched and left like you always do to me,
just tell me, tell me why you can't see
