Reasons Unclear by Shan

The barbaric voices are all you hear
The voices are strong and always clear
You don't want to listen, but it's no use to fight
You'll lose anyway, so try to get past tonight

It always ends at some point in time
But until it does you are part of a victimless crime
You had no choice but to wait it out
These voices cause pain, without a doubt

Closing your eyes, only made it worse
As your imagination throws you into a curse
You imagine your death painful and slow
Your mind then belives it is time to go

Subconsciously moving toward the death you prepare
Your mind has fallen completely to despair
Unaware of your actions, you made the first slice
It's not up to you to choose to save your own life.

Still unaware of the new pain you've caused
And you missed the fact that your brain is now paused
All the thoughts that kept running all through your mind,
Are scarse, rare and soooo hard to find

The world turns into mush and starts melting away
The world you once knew is now nothing but dismay
You watch yourself fly from the body you once owned
This time your death could not be postponed

At that one last second of life on this world
The whole reason for life had finally unfurled
All the pain eases and nothing seems bad
For the first time in your life, you are nothing but glad

You can't tell the secret, it's for onesself to find out
We already know, but it's something we forget about
So until death comes, and the one last second is here
I guess the reason will never seem all that clear.
