Acception Of Rejection
21 July, 2002
Author: Shan
One thought controls the whole mind,
Through the day, can't ever unwind.
The actions you make are based on that thought.
Consequences don't matter, when on that spot.
Paranoia magnifies every thought in the head.
Making it so bad that you wish you were dead.
People never see exactly who you are,
when compared to their world, you're off pretty far.
Everyone laughs cuz they know you don't belong.
You're so different, they see it as wrong.
If everyone is different, why do they treat you that way?
Why do you get looked at, laughed at and chased away?
The feeling of insecurity reaches for the toes.
Grab the blade again, and push as far as it goes.
Maybe this will bring reality back.
You look up from the cut and see only black.
You're still numb and nothing is real.
Will anyone ever understand how this feels?
You know all about the world of rejection,
hopefully it wont be long until you reach the world of acception.
Until then in order to make it though,
just immitate every one else, and do as they do.
In this world you must be accepted,
before you can just be you.
