Mixed Colors
21 July, 2002
Author: Shan
I put the brush on the page and disapear into myself.
Each stroke with new colors, symbolizes a release.
A release of a thought, it clears up my mind,
like a traveling ship, I disapear into the moment of time.
The black is for all the pain,
all the suffering I've dealt with.
The blue is the hope of what
I wish for my dreams and myself.
The red is for all the blood I've shed,
and all the death I've seen.
The yellow is the light that wont shine through.
The orange is the blood and the light that has mixed.
No erasers with paint,
it is what it is, it can't just be fixed.
So what I have got to do is mix all the colors,
mold them into something beautiful, something worthy.
Maybe the final meshed beautiful creation
will evenutally symbolize myself as the portrait I dream of.
