Better Than The Real Thing
9 February, 2003
Author: Shana
Never had you around
So I never thought I will
I grew up with out you
Things seemed to go smooth
As I got older I started understanding
Started thinking for myself
Until little by little I realized how stupid I was
I had him the whole time
I just didn't realize it
You raised me right
Never let me go wrong
You let me think for myself
Because you knew I knew right from wrong
You lead me to the right direction
Even when you knew I didn't want to hear it
Even though it seems like I don't really appreciate it
I do I'm glad my mom picked you
You raised us right you didn't go wrong
You taught us everything you could
I just thought you would want to know
How much I love you (dad)
